Rodd & Gunn

This brand is a New Zealand menswear supplier that was established in 1946, and in the last 30 years it has gradually spread across the Southern Hemisphere and is now moving north across the globe. We are very excited to stock their clothes in our stores and online.

Their reputation is based on a passion for creating timeless garments that are made to last. There is no compromise when it comes to fabrics – they select the softest wools, the finest cottons and luxurious linens. They strive to use biodegradable yarns from renewable sources and many of their clothes are made in family-owned mills in the heart of Italy.

We would describe the garments as classic yet contemporary through combining traditional tailoring techniques with modern, cutting-edge fabrics. Every season their collection is inspired by the untamed beauty and culture of New Zealand - think ancient mountains, glacial lakes, windswept landscapes.

Polo Shirts

In store right now we have the brand’s classic polo shirts. A men’s summer favourite, these pique polos are durable, and breathable in a ‘sports’ fit for a modern look. In a rainbow of colours, you will spot the iconic pointer logo on the chest.

Shorts

Pair with the Gunn 9” shorts. These Rodd & Gunn shorts are Bermuda style in an original fit with a tiny sprinkle of elastane for ultimate comfort. A wardrobe essential for every man which will look equally as good with a crisp shirt as with the favourite polo.

Linen Shirts

The brand has nailed the ubiquitous linen shirt. Rodd & Gunn shirts are woven from yarns that feature a unique wash, which lends the fabric a slightly faded look and soft feel. Milled in Italy, from premium linen harvested in France and Belgium and certified by European Flax is pre-washed for an easy going feel. Choose from plain linen shirts in beautiful colours, or ring the changes with a striped option.

Jackets

The Rodd & Gunn jacket we are loving this summer is the Cascade. A blend of European linen and Australian wool, the deconstructed design ensures a relaxed yet sophisticated look. There is a place for this in any sartorially minded man’s wardrobe.

Jeans

The jackets work well when paired with the brands’ straight fit jeans. The fabrication of the cotton, and the mid-rise waist, means these jeans are slightly smarter than your everyday denim.
