Stunning woven baskets made from telephone and copper wire. Using centuries old techniques, over 600 disadvantaged men and women in South Africa develop their skills under Fair Trade conditions.
The baskets are suitable for food use and are washable in soapy water. They also look wonderful empty, with keys, coins, odds and ends, pens and pencils or even in the bathroom for toiletries/make up or cotton wool !
Every design is totally unique.
The platters are shallow and striking mounted on stands or on the wall or can be used for any of the above.
